Talk:Alyona Bondarenko
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Why is her name spelled with a "y"? "Alona" is far more common in English-language media. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyperkine (talk • contribs) 21:13, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
It`s name is translated from the Ukrainian language. Sign "ьо" - "y".

Thanks...do you know why it was picked up as "Alona" by English-language media? ~hyperkine —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyperkine (talk • contribs) 12:36, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
No. It is probably necessary to use ö, but the given letter in the English alphabet is absent. --StS 20:45, 8 April 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by StSasha (talk • contribs)
