This page needs to be recreated into a disambiguation page, linking to the Iberian surnames Alvares and Alvarez and also to the Iranian community of Alvares, as three separate entries. Famous persons with those surnames also should be linked to from here. However, since I do not have the skills, I will not do this myself. It should preferably be done by people with indepth knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese cultures - WikiSceptic 05:41, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
