[edit] Apollo 10 LM ascent stage jettison
as the onboard Orion SM main engine would not have the propellant to fly a similar formation used on Apollo 10; it released its LM after the trans-earth injection burn where it is now in a permanent solar orbit.
I'm removing that comment simply because it isn't true. Apollo 10 lunar module ascent stage was jettisoned before TEI burn and the burn that placed the ascent stage into solar orbit which was performed unpiloted with the Ascent Propulsion System.
