[edit] Looking good!

Just to say this is already looking really good! :-) Madder 22:09, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Indeed - perhaps we should submit to Wikipedia:Portal peer review? It could be a potential featured portal. CloudNine 17:58, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Comment from viewer

Hey, im a 17 year old guy in a drug rehab program in vero beach florida, and wikipedia is the only site we are allowed to get on. now, my life revolves around alternative rock music and i would be extatic to see this section of wikipedia to grow. it would definately be my daily ritual to come on here and see what's going on in the alternative rock world today...(we arent allowed to listen to music either).

thanks, paul

[edit] Selected article

Cool :) I'm currently switching the selected article to a random selection, rather than by month. CloudNine 22:48, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

Some of the article summaries, i.e. the ones I've added, need to be more concise. CloudNine 11:52, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
I prefer the by-month article showcase, not the least because most other Portals do that. We're showcasing the best alternative articles, and I see no problem with one being featured on the Portal per month. WesleyDodds 14:08, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
