Alternative Times is a series of alternative rock and pop music compilations released solely to the Internet at regular intervals by an anonymous Canadian DJ. The first volume was released on August 8, 2000, and there are 94 volumes to date. The exact origin of the series remains largely unknown.

Most or all of the music selected is the intellectual property of signed artists and their respective record labels. The author of the series did not secure the rights to redistribute said intellectual property, and as such, Alternative Times as a whole is illegal under United States copyright law. Despite this, the series has a sizeable following due to its unrivaled assortment of popular hits.
