I agree. I've changed it to reflect the television show for now. Let's see what we can do to expand that part, then possibly figure out how the cable and store fit in...this is the first time I've even heard of all this...;) No idea yet what it encompasses. [edit] Alpha mom term

From my research, the term "alpha mom" existed well before 2004, [1], [2], [3].

According to the refrences, Van Flandern came up with the "label" "Alpha Mom", but didn't create the term itself. If the article is to state that she coined it, then that claim needs to be solidly sourced. Dreadstar † 04:54, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Agree with Dreadstar. I have read some articles on alpha moms and was under the impression she just came up with the label. I will try to locate some of those articles for references.--Neyoung (talk) 21:28, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

I found the article I mentioned I read several months ago. I was under the impression she came up with the name Alpha Mom for the Alpha Mom label. [4].--Neyoung (talk) 22:16, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
