Alphabet City (film)

Directed by Amos Poe, this stylized 1980s motion picture is a "New Jack City"-type underworld crime thriller. "B" actors Vincent Spano, Jami Gertz, and Michael Winslow as the bad guy, star. Acclaimed film and stage actress Zohra Lampert played the protagonist's mother. The film is set in Alphabet City, part of the East Village in NYC.

The vehicle Vincent Spano drives in the film is a 1983 Pontiac Trans Am 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Edition. Only 2500 of the cars were built.
