What right-wing political party was he involved in? —Morning star 19:55, 2 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Irish Hitlers
This is not a joke. While working in Dublin in 2001, I noticed that the then doorman of the Shelbourne Hotel was the double of Adolf Hitler. I have the videotape to prove it... I reckon Alois must have sown a few seeds there... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by RodCrosby (talk • contribs).
Alois was only the half-brother of Adolph and therefore looked more like a cousin than a brother. So his sons would not look too much like Adolph Hitler. In any case all of Alois's grandsons are in the U.S. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.78.51.136 (talk • contribs).
[edit] "Hiller"
I remember having read somewhere that after WWII Alois Hitler, Jr. changed his surname to Hiller. Can anyone corroborate or refute that? Michael Hardy 18:50, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
I know his son changed his name but not to what. Alois's son Pat who moved to the US and fought in the US navy against his uncle Adolf. Pat, who worked for the IRS, died in 1987. Pat had four sons Alexander, Brian, Howard and Louis(sp?)? Brian and Howard have a landscaping business in New York State.

Personally, I think that this is the stupidest reason not to have children. It would have been better to kept having kids until one became a Rabbi or a peace activist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.77.37.48 (talk) 22:21, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Confusing line
At the very beginning, the article says: ". . . was the son of Alois Hitler and Franziska Matzelsberger and the half-brother of Adolf Hitler." This clearly does not make sense, as it asserts that he was the son of three people. Would someone clarify this, please?AMStecker 00:44, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Where´s the problem? Just read it out clearly: He was the son of Alois Hitler and Franziska Matzelsberger, but the half-brother - you know what brothers are? - of Adolf Hitler. Perhaps you should read again the article at a more comfortable time, not just an hour after midnight, to get it clear. - Hitler´s family history is no doubt confusing, but this seems quite clear to me. Many greetings, Eva. 139.6.1.17 (talk) 17:01, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
But I´ve got another question: What does this sentence mean: "When he started cheating on his wife with Franziska neither knew until Alois's wife found out and was appalled and told Franziska" ?? It seems funny to me, that Franziska - as it sounds here - wasn´t aware of Alois senior flirting with her and had to been told this by her mistress. Can anyone explain this to me, please? Have a nice day, Eva 139.6.1.17 (talk) 17:09, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
