Alosa pontica is a species of fish in the Clupeidae family. It is found in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Hungary, Iran, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine.
