[edit] Translation

I have removed the stub-sentence and substituted the German article - translated - for it. It obviously still needs some work - I'd like to have some opinions on the following points:

- the first line is looking unwieldy, but I dont know how to shorten it. - should the "Halleschen Händelfestpiele" be left in or should it just say something generic about festivals ?

Regards

Looks great. Dates in English don't use a period, so I fixed that. I changed the spelling to Handel, which seems to be the accepted spelling in the English Wikipedia. And I added apostrophe's in the possessives and un-capitalized libretto. Also linked the voice parts. Minor stuff. I think the first line is okay, lots of Wikipedia articles sound like that. And I think the festival thing is fine as is.NickelShoe 22:53, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
I am wondering whether to put in the literature mentioned in the German article - otherwise this article is without sources. What do you think ? ACH 11:00, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Yup. I went ahead and did it. Necessary, since they were used to write the article. Also necessary to cite the German language Wikipedia contributors for GFDL reasons, if I'm not mistaken. Thanks! NickelShoe 15:46, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Ok then, thanks. I'll leave this article alone now then, so see you around. ACH 19:08, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
