Talk:Allende's last radio message

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is a spanish version of wikipedia, if you'd like to post this article there in the meantime, it really serves no purpose being posted on the english site until it is translated into english. [[User:Cohesion|cohesion ]] 03:13, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Sorry, everybody, but I think this contribution is going to have to be deleted as a copyright violation. Allende's last speech exists in printed sources: Salvador Allende, Discursos, Editorial de Ciencias Sociales, La Habana, 1975, and for the English translation, the Salvador Allende Reader: Chile's Voice of Democracy (2000). It's true that the printed English translation is probably not the same as the rather literal translation from Mr. Chernilo's site, but that would only mean that the latter is an unauthorized translation, which doesn't improve the article's prospects any. The copyright seems likely to go with the books, but to make sure, I've asked a question at [1], please take a look at that and respond either there or here if you have anything to say about the copyright. I won't take any pleasure in getting this article deleted, believe me. Bishonen 18:34, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC)
