[edit] Mid-Major Programs

Does anyone know why they might not have teams other than in East/Mid-West areas, such as in the Mountain West Conference (Utah, BYU, etc.)? 65.104.77.179 23:18, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Probably because the teams in the eastern U.S. have the biggest traditions, ie: Notre Dame, University of Alabama, and the University of Tennessee. AlaGuy 20:16, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Thanks for knocking that out, dude. I would've done it, but I, too, had "matters to attend to," if matters encompasses not knowing anything about HTML. I'm thinking about adding something for the coaching staffs. Also, I've started doing the players, but I'm using the active NFL player template, which is kind of ridiculous, but creating a template just for the AAFL is more insane.     • There is a {{Infobox Gridiron football person}} that is probably applicable to use for AAFL players. On a side note, a saw a request for deletion for an existing AAFL player's article (Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Rayshawn_Askew), so I have a feeling more may be nominated for deletion as not being notable (especially if they have not played in the NFL). If so, let me know and I'll do my best to defend keeping them. X96lee15 (talk) 17:20, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Someone should crete a template like other leagues have, with the teams and links to league-related things like the draft. I'd do it myself, but I have "matters to tend to". --Tascha96 18:07, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ford Field law suit

I should be mentioned that Ford Field is suin' the league due to them cancelin' the '08 season. Here is the link, ESPN - Ford Field sues AAFL after league cancels first season - NFL.
