Alliance Youth is a youth political organization linked to the Alliance Party of Northern Ireland. It exists to promote Liberal, progressive and non-sectarian politics in Northern Ireland, through promoting policies, running in campaigns and arranging meetings with elected representatives[citation needed].
Alliance Youth is an umbrella organization, incorporating the youth wing of the Alliance Party (Young Alliance) and Liberal/Alliance Societies at Northern Ireland universities.
Alliance Youth is involved in local campaigns on anti-racism, road safety and suicide prevention.[citation needed]
It is also a full member of LYMEC and a candidate member of the IFLRY[citation needed], through which it has supported campaigns for freedom of movement within Europe, reform of European agricultural policy, and democracy in Belarus.[citation needed]
At the 2008 Alliance Youth AGM, the following Officers were elected:

International Officer - Chris Andrews
The Executive also consists of QUB Alliance Chair Michael Bower and UU Alliance Chair Rory Kelly.[citation needed]
