Alliance Française de Manchester

Established in 1997, the Alliance Française de Manchester is dedicated to the local promotion of French language and culture. Recently relocated to larger premises on Oxford Street, right in the heart of Manchester, the Alliance Française de Manchester is a reputable French language school offering a multimedia library and regular cultural events, such as the Ciné-Club and Café Philo.
The Alliance Française de Manchester is a registered charity.
There are more than 400 students who choose to improve their knowledge of the French language and culture at the Alliance Française de Manchester.

CINEMA: Ciné-club. The ciné-club is one of the Aliiance's most unmissable get togethers that gives you the opportunity to watch a French film followed by a lively, informal discussion over a glass of wine...
DEBATE: Café Philo. The Café Philo is a very enjoyable get together which takes place twice a month; everybody can express their views and opinions on a range of world issues and current affairs.
QUIZ. A game about french culture.
WINE LECTURES AND TASTING. Once a month, this events offers the opportunity to learn more about french wine with a real french expert.
CHILDREN: C'est la récré! Informal family activities in french , such as playing games and singing songs.
