Allen Patrick (born February 15, 1984 in Conway, South Carolina) is an American football running back for the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL. During the 2006 season, he was thrust into the starting lineup when starting tailback Adrian Peterson was lost for the season with a broken collarbone. His nickname is AP which is both his initials and Peterson's initials, but should not to be confused with Peterson's nickname which is AD (which stands for "All Day"). Allen Patrick is projected as the top senior running back prospect for the 2008 NFL Draft according to Mel Kiper.[1]
[edit] High school
Patrick attended Conway High School in Conway, South Carolina where he played running back, defensive back, and kick returner.
[edit] Junior college
