Allameh Tabatabaei High School, located in Tehran, Iran, is a popular high school with a high reputation. Originally there were two branches of Allameh in Iran (Karegar & Fatemi Branches), both of which were located in Tehran, but in 2002 two more branches(Mirdamad & Abshenasan) were introduced in the province of Tehran. In 2005 one more branch was formed (Abshenasan 2). Over 100,000 students (102,510 in 2002) apply each year, but only 100 of them are accepted for each branch. The entry examination given to eighth graders test materials about math, science, Arabic, and literature of three or four years in advanced (considering international standards). Also This Cultural Complex specially invests on his student to prepare them for Olympiad in all fields like : math , physics , literature , astronomy , computer and chemistry .
