[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:GB2K01 - Cry of the Cat.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:GB2K01 - Cry of the Cat.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:19, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:01 - Revenge of the Living Dummy.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:01 - Revenge of the Living Dummy.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. The following images also have this problem:

[edit] Worlds Collide
Hi Alinblack. I took the time to improve Worlds Collide by merging relevant information from the Trivia section to the main article. You reverted every change I made without providing any explanation. What is your reasoning? Also please read WP:OWN. Thanks. ~MDD4696 19:54, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- I reverted the change because you didn't just merge the info... You erased most of it. Merge what you want into the main article... but what you don't merge, leave where it is. It's not your information to erase, and it's relevant to the article in question. Alinblack (talk) 14:32, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image problem with HorrorLand #3
Hi Alinblack. You seem to be dealing with the cover uploads for Goosebumps at the moment, so I was hoping you could fix this (as an IP, my hands are tied). Apparently the print copy of HorrorLand #3: Monster Blood For Breakfast! really does have that ! in the title, but the cover you uploaded is one of the versions that doesn't have it. Scholastic seem to have changed their mind on it a couple of times. Could you possibly update it to this properly-punctuated version from B&N? (If you need a reliable citation of any kind, EnterHorrorLand.com has a picture of the cover in its Map 3, and that uses the ! version.) [1] 86.136.156.205 (talk) 13:09, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- As mucha as I'd love to obleige, I can't. The image on the page is from Amazon. I don't actually have a copy myself. Otherwise I'd scan it and upload it to settle the debate that's been going on (Yes, I've been following it) So until someone can upload the updated version of the cover, the one without the ! will have to suffice I'm afraid. Alinblack (talk) 13:20, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- The link I put down here is from Barnes & Noble's online store (don't ask me why their images have the weird URL). Won't that suffice? Or is an actual physical copy necessary to resolve the conflict? (Thanks anyway.) 86.136.156.205 (talk) 07:18, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
