Alicia DeBrincat is an American painter based in the San Francisco Bay area. Born in Stanford, California, DeBrincat holds a BA from the University of Oregon, and has studied at the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca in Oaxaca, Mexico as well as the Instituto de Estudios Internacionales in Seville, Spain. [1] DeBrincat's work was awarded the first prize in 2006 annual juried show by the Art Museum of Los Gatos. [2][3] DeBrincat was also honored with a Distinguished Artist Award at the 2006 Convocatoria Internacional de Arte in Argentina. [4]
