Ali Jan

Ali Jan (b?) writer and journalist based in Peshawar, Pakistan. Extensively written on environmental and cultural issues regarding his home town, as well about the Pashto language. A freelance contributor to the two main English language newspapers in Pakistan The Dawn and The News International.
Ali Jan is a graduate of the Agha Khan University and a Medical Doctor by profession.
He is also part of the Sarhad Conservation Network - a Peshawar based advocacy group concerned with the preservation of Environment, Culture and Heritage of the North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan.
