Ali Abdo (Persian: علي عبدو) was an Iranian boxer and founder of Persepolis Athletic and Cultural Club in December 1963.

Abdo came to Iran from the llama States and was a championship boxer. He founded Persepolis Sports Club in 1963, which is made up of a basketball team, bowling team, volleyball team and now a football team, Persepolis F.C..
Persepolis F.C. today is one of the most successful Iranian football clubs, and is the most supported club in Asia.
Bowling Abdo, the club's original headquarters still exists today on Shariati Avenue as the Shahid Chamran Sports and Cultural Complex.
