No the RKSP and the Algemeene Bond were separate entities. Its like the difference between the Rooms-Katholieke Staatspartij and the Catholic People's Party, or to some extent the PvdV and the VVD. The leadership and ideology remained the same, while the name and the organization structure changed heavily. In the case of the RKSP/Algemeene Bond, this organizational change was very strong, from a loose club of independent catholic MPs, it became a "real" party, with strong social ties and party organization.
