[edit] Navajo/Flagstaff

Hi! I noticed that you added the following Navajo language translation to the Flagstaff, Arizona article (Navajo Kinłání). I just wanted to confirm whether this is, in fact, a direct translation from English-to-Navajo of Flagstaff, or actually the Navajo word describing the overall region where Flagstaff is, which is a bit different from the literal translation. Thanks! Dr. Cash (talk) 15:43, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

I believe it is the Navajo name for the city (or the area), also see other cities, Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Gallup, etc ... I got the name from the Navajo Wikipedia's article on Flagstaff.--Alfredie (talk) 20:41, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
