About 20 years ago there was a travel exhibition across the United States of Impressionists works. I saw the exhibition is San Francisco's Legion of Honor. There was a canvas of Sisley included in the exhibit and I remembered I liked very much. I don't agree with some who say Sisley work most resembles Monet. I prefer to say his work most resembles Pisarro and somewhat Seurat. Art4humanists 22:07 15 December 2006 (UTC)
