[edit] No information on his literary works
The following website on google has a list of all the books authored by him, plus a more balanced (i.e. not solely political) view.

P.S. I came across the above website by entering "Alfred Sant" + "silg fuq" in google (Silg fuq-Kemmuna being one of his book titles).
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Malta-sant.gif
Image:Malta-sant.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A cleanup
It all started with the justified complaint that no mention was made of Sant's literary works. Then someone just copied and pasted Sant's detailed CV from elsewhere on the net and overwrote all that had been written beforehand.
First, it is OK to quote sources on the net but to copy them is plagiarism.
Second, while the original might have been accurate and in a style that's appropriate for a CV is not in the style of a Wikipedia entry. Most of it, in fact, is written in bullet points.
Thirdly, Wikipedia is not a collection of useless facts. The subject of Sant's doctoral thesis, for example, written thirty years ago and in the fast-changing managerial sector is not relevant here. Neither is the work and portfolio of the consulting company with which he worked for a few years some twenty years ago (it might be in an entry on said company but this is about Alfred Sant whose claim to fame is his role in the Maltese political landscape). Compare this to the entries of other political leaders if you are still not convinced.
So please appreciate it changes as an attempt to wikify the article and instead concentrate on sourcing the claims, something on which much work (admittedly) still needs to be done.

[edit] Political Maturity
I am calling on Wikipedia users to refrain from both deifying and vilifying Sant on this article. Wikipedia is NOT a political battleground. Some political maturity and objective neutrality is definitely needed in this article. Reuv (talk) 18:39, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
