Alfred Small

Alfred Small, who earned his Ph.D. in pharmacology, was formerly employed by the United States Navy and National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is a pharmacologist who has published widely, using statistical techniques to analyze data. Currently, he resides and works in Hercules, California, developing websites. Small earned many honors at University of Michigan, and University of Minnesota, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, as well as for the United States military. His work, for example, Furosemide and hydrochlorthiazide do not have a common mode of action was awarded for excellence, University of Minnesota. Alfred Small has specialized in research related to renal (kidney) function. Among his achievements is the following: National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institutes of Health Special Emphasis Panel on Heart and Vascular Diseases Research.
