Alfred James Jolson (June 18, 1928 Bridgeport (USA) - March 21, 1994, Pittsburgh (USA)[1], was an American Jesuit priest, late Bishop of Diocese of Reykjavík (Iceland).
After being, for several years, teacher and professor in various Jesuit educational institutions in the USA, Italy and Irak, Jolson was made in 1987, bishop of the tiny Catholic diocese of Reykjavik (Iceland). He died suddenly in 1994.
