Alfonso ("El Tanque") Dantés (April 13, 1943-), whose birth name is José Luis Amezcua Díaz, was a Mexican luchador who wrestled during the 1960s and 70s. In 1996, he was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame. Alfonso Dantés' son followed in his footsteps and now wrestles as Apolo Dantés[1]
