Welcome, but ... I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Simon Lloyd, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Simon Lloyd. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi Alex. I was the one that noted your article for deletion (Simon Lloyd). This does not mean that you will be barred in any way, and the article as such was no case of vandalism or so: it's just that I felt that the person you wrote about hasn't done enough (yet) to make him worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. See e.g. Wikipedia:Notability (people) for some explanation of the guideline as to what is or isn't worthy of inclusion. Please don't be discouraged if this article (and perhaps others) get deleted. It looks to me like you genuinely want to contribute to Wikipedia, and there are many existing articles that need a lot of work, and many things that still do need inclusion. There are probably many things you know enough of to be of help. Check e.g. the village you live in, your favourite band, author, or sports club, or something else that interests you and that has enough interest to be included here. Fram 13:03, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
