Did You Know An entry from Alexandre Jacovleff appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know? column on December 11, 2006.
Wikipedia

After it's off the main page, it should be moved to Alexander Yevgenievich Yakovlev per WP:RUS - crz crztalk 00:45, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

It was how I intended to name the article from the very beginning. BUT the guy lived five years in Boston and 10 more in France. He obviously had an established English name. And the name seems to be Jacovleff, the only mentioning of Yakovlev I could find are translations form Russian. If we have an established English name we should use it per both WP:RUS and WP:UE Alex Bakharev 05:11, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
