[edit] Editing

This article is in sore need of editing. The English in many of the sentences should be reworked to bring it up to standard. Simon—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.147.242.4 (talkcontribs) 15:58, 19 September 2005 (UTC)

I have re-written this article by borrowing heavily from the article on Godunov at the Internet Movie Data Base. I hope that it will meet with the approval of Wikipedia readers. Simon—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 205.147.242.4 (talkcontribs) 21:11, 20 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Mistake in dating?

He is listed as having died in 1995, however he is also recorded as having acted in a film in 1996, was this a planned film or was it produced before his death? —Preceding unsigned comment added by [[Sphttp://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Alexander_Godunov&action=edit&section=2 Editing Talk:Alexander Godunov (section) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaecial:Contributions/90.207.105.145|90.207.105.145]] (talk) 23:43, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Not to worry, he's probably not an apparition. There are numerous examples on IMDB and allmovie.com of films that were released after an actor's death, sometimes even years later. Don't forget about the myriad of tasks other than acting in a movie, to name but a few: filming scenes involving the remaining (non-deceased) actors, reshooting, editing, advertising, etc., that have to be completed after a particular (not yet dead) actor's scenes are shot. It's much more likely that movie studio bureaucracy delayed the release, not the world's most gifted Russian defectee, ballet-dancing zombie (although it's an intriguing concept!). 68.35.74.30 (talk) 07:33, 8 January 2008 (UTC)Pywacket

[edit] Date of death

All the sources I can find say he died on 18 May, the day his body was found. Yet, the evidence suggests he died before then. A friend had not heard from him since 8 May, and this says he’d been dead "at least a couple of days" when he was found. Is there any information about the official medical findings on when he actually is believed to have died? -- JackofOz (talk) 08:48, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
