[edit] Black Forest OR Bavaria???

Black Forest is located in Baden-Württemberg....not Bavaria.

[edit] Not intelligible with Standard German as other alemannic dialects?

Questionable, I don't know Alemán Coloniero, but I know other alemannic dialects as Swiss German, which I can understand, as a Standard-German-Speaker, pretty well.

That's exceptional. I'm a speaker of High Alemannic in Southern Baden and even people who have lived in the region for many years often don't understand a word of what I'm saying. However, I have also spoken Alemannic with speakers of Austrian Standard German and they understood me perfectly. As a general rule however, Alemannic and Standard German aren't mutually intelligible. --Chlämens 01:42, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
