[edit] Zaytsev's work
In my opinion, the article over-sells Zaytsev's work, in particular with respect to radar astronomy. I can discuss this matter at length, but should not edit the article drastically because I do have a WP:COI. Michaelbusch (talk) 22:24, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- Due to several recent edits, I will explain my conflict of interest. First, though, I'd like to remind editors of WP:BLP: we don't repeat honorifics (e.g. 'Prof.' or 'Dr.') at every possible occurrence in the article, and we include any notable awards - even those of dubious distinction (e.g. an ignobel or Zaizsev's award as 'Hooligan of the year'). That said, the article does need some stylistic corrections.
- Now, my conflict-of-interest: I have some knowledge of radar astronomy, since I work with Steven Ostro (see my userpage). I therefore know rather more about the Toutatis observations than is reported here. I will have to review the literature, both public and JPL internal, to establish exactly who transmitted what when. Based on recent edits, the advert tag has been removed. However, I will still be monitoring the article for NPOV. Michaelbusch (talk) 19:52, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
