Español: Fotografía de Alexander Solzhenitsyn prisionero, publicada en Archipiélago Gulag

Photograph of Russian author and former Gulag prisoner Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn being searched, circa 1953.

This picture is published in "Gulag Archipelago" and the author's note under it states (translated from Russian):

"This picture was taken when I was already released from the camps into Exile, but the jacket and the numbers are real, and the methods used are also closely re-enacted. All the time while in Ekibastuz [Special Camp], my number was "Щ-232" and then later changed to "Щ-262" in the last months. The numbers I sneaked out of Ekibastuz and I keep it to this day." [1]
