Alexis Macnab

Alexis Macnab born 1979 in Evanston, Illinois is an American actress and performer. She is a member of the Bat Theater Company, the resident ensemble of The Flea Theater, and an associate member of Laboratory Theater in New York City. In the fall of 2007 Macnab was featured in The Flea's production of Peter Handke's Publikumsbeschimpfung (Offending the Audience).
Macnab earned a BA (Phi Beta Kappa) in Theater at Oberlin College. She has performed at La MaMa E.C.T., The Culture Project, HERE Arts Center, The Brick, and Richard Foreman's Ontological-Hysteric Theatre. As a puppeteer, Macnab has worked with Great Small Works, and the Chicago based Redmoon Theater. Macnab often works with writer Timothy Braun.
