Alexia Grinda a.k.a. Alexia Lejeune or Alexia Grinda-Lejeune (born in Paris, November 1967) is the daughter of Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands (the prince consort of the late Queen Juliana of the Netherlands) and his mistress, the French socialite and fashion model Hélène Grinda (born 1944, daughter of Jean-Paul Grinda (1900-1975) and wife Françoise Blason), with whom he had an affair from 1966 to 1969. Alexia Grinda is also known as Alexia Lejeune, after her stepfather Stanislas Baron Lejeune.
Alexia Grinda was born in the same year as Bernhard's eldest grandchild, the Prince Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. Her name first became public during the Lockheed affair. Prince Bernhard has never denied her existence, and in the last interview he gave before his death, which was published after he died, he admitted that she was his daughter. Alexia and her mother regularly received allowances and financial support from Prince Bernhard. It has been alleged that this need for money is what led Prince Bernhard to be open to bribes from Lockheed.
