Alexei Smirnov (born January 28, 1982 in Tver, U.S.S.R.) is a Russian professional ice hockey player. He is a centerman for Vityaz Chekhov in the Russian Super League.

Smirnov was drafted 12th overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. He played 52 games for the Mighty Ducks.
