Alexandra Papageorgiou

Alexandra Papageorgiou (Greek: Αλεξάνδρα Παπαγεωργίου, born December 17, 1980) is a Greek hammer thrower.
She was born in Athens.
She finished seventh at the 2002 European Championships, twelfth at the 2004 Olympic Games, ninth at the 2006 European Championships and eighth at the 2006 World Cup. She also competed at the 2003 World Championships without reaching the finals.
Her personal best throw is 70.33 metres, achieved in September 2006 in Zenica. This is the current Greek record.[1]
