Alex St. Clare was a fictional character from the Australian police series Water Rats. She appeared on the show from 2000 to when it was cancelled in 2001. She was portrayed by actress Dee Smart. Even if the series continued after 2001, Alex wouldn't have appeared in it as Dee Smart was leaving because she was pregnant.
