Alex Raphael Meschini or simply Alex (born March 25, 1982 in Cornélio Procópio) is an attacking-midfielder player from Brazil. He currently plays at Internacional. Alex joined from Guarani on March 11 2004 for a fee of 450.000 euro, signing a 4 year deal. The player is wanted by european clubs like Olympiakos Piraeus, CSKA Moscow and Trabzonspor. The greek giants are close to sign him paying the buyout clause of 3.3 million euro at his contract. A deal between Internacional and the greek double holders is expected in the next few days.
