Alex Penny

Alexander Penny (Born 17th October, 1975) Is a former youth trainee footballer from England who is currently the academy goalkeeper coach at Bristol City FC. Penny breakthrough came whilst training at Bristol City FC(1998) when Penny was approached by Derby County FC(2000). During his time with the Rams Penny represented the Ex-Rams football team and also developed new coaching methods for young goalkeepers. Penny became an author in (2002) with a book on coaching, this book helped many young people learn more about success in football, the book featured England under 21 international Lee Camp and Swedens Tonton Zola Moukoko. Penny was Derby County Ladies FC assistant coach to Will Royall during the 2001/02 season. Penny (2003) became understudy to Wolverhampton Wanderers FC goalkeeping coach Bobby Mimms and senior coach at Wolves Womens FC working with Aston Villa FC Legend Dennis Mortimer and England international Player Emily Westwood. After a 3 year spell covering many rolls with Birmingham City FC Penny returned to Bristol City FC in (2006).
