Alex Jordan (born Karen Elizabeth Mereness[citation needed] on September 20, 1963; died July 2, 1995) was a porn film actress. She won the 1993 AVN Awards for "Best New Starlet".[1]
Jordan entered the adult business in 1992, answering an ad for a nude model. She was one of the first female pioneers of the gonzo porn sub-genre, which involved her making videos with non-professional amateur actors. She was fairly well received by porn fans, but never as a lead actress. Her most notable performances usually involved lesbian scenes.

Jordan was found hanging in her closet, an apparent suicide, on July 2, 1995. Jordan was one of several high-profile porn actors to commit suicide during the early-1990s; others included Savannah, Megan Leigh, and male actor Cal Jammer.
