Alex Henry

Alex Henry (born October 18, 1979, in Elliot Lake, Ontario) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is 6'5" tall, weighs 220 lbs, shoots left and plays defence for the Nashville Predators.

Alex Henry was selected in the 3rd round, 67th overall, in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers.
On October 24, 2002, Henry was claimed off waivers by the Washington Capitals.
On October 9, 2003, Henry was once again claimed off of waivers, this time by the Minnesota Wild.
On August 22, 2006, Henry was signed as a free agent by the Nashville Predators to a one-year, two-way contract.
He will make $450,000 if he plays on the NHL level with the Predators and $95,000 if he plays for Milwaukee of the American Hockey League.
