Alessandro Soares (born 5 February 1973 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian football player who has spent the bulk of his career playing in the Greek first division as a striker. He currently plays for Alki Larnaca in the Cypriot first division.
A little known fact about Soares is that he played alongside 3-time FIFA World Player of the Year and current A.C. Milan star Ronaldo during their time in the Cruzeiro E.C. youth academy back in Brazil.
