Alessandro Birindelli (born November 12, 1974 in Pisa) is an Italian footballer who currently plays for Juventus of Serie A. He is 176 cm tall and weighs 73 kg.
Birindelli has played for only two teams, Empoli (1992-1997) and Juventus (since 1997). Despite not being a regular since 2000, he has stayed on with Juventus and won four Italian leagues with them. He is also a free-kick specialist.
He has won six international caps, and is currently the club's vice-captain (below Alessandro Del Piero).
Recently, he announced on Juventus TV that the game against Catania would be his last for the club, ending his illustrious 11year career with the club.
