Alece Costero Natural Monument (Spanish: Monumento Natural Alerce Costero) is protected area in the Valdivian Coastal Range about 137 km from Valdivia and 49 km from La Unión. Trees of Fitzroya grow inside the protected area and gives name to the area since Alerce Costero means Coastal Fitzroya in English. The monument compromises 2,307 ha and has not tourism facilities.
