Aleksei Ionov (born 18 February 1989 in Kingisepp) is a Russian football midfielder, who currently plays for Zenit.
He started playing football at the age of six.[1] Later he graduated from SCYSSOR Zenit, and started playing for Zenit Reserves in 2007.[2] He played for Zenit three times in UEFA Cup. He is contracted with Zenit until January 2010.
