Rhythm Guitarist for LA Guns. Alec Bauer (aka Big Al) was born in Newport Beach in 1989 and grew up in Huntington Beach. He attended Huntington Beach High School and participated in the Academy for the Performing Arts (APA). He studied with the Commercial Recording Arts Department (CRAD). The teacher in charge of CRAD is Jamie Knight. In 2005, Alec played snipets of the cover songs performed by Camp Freddy over the phone on the Camp Freddy Radio Show on Indie 103.1. Dave Navarro and Billy Morrison named Alec's band Camp Teddy, cover band for a cover band, and invited them to play one song before Camp Freddy performed at The Key Club on the Sunset Strip. Camp Teddy played the song, "Bang a Gong", by T-Rex. Camp Teddy, consisted of Alec Bauer (Guitars and Vocals) Wade Turner (Guitars and vocals), Ira George (Bass), and Luke Armstrong (Drums). Alec Bauer has performed in Huntington Beach High School's "Retrofest",at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, The Galaxy Theater in Orange County. He has been the Roadie and Driver for L.A. Guns since June 2007. Alec Bauer has played in the bands, Claira's Daze and Catalina Burning.
