Note: this article was formerly called "William Aldred", and marked as a biography stub, even though its entire content was about the case, not the person. [edit] Request for expert attention

It would be useful to have more on exactly why this otherwise apparently obscure case has been cited so often in other cases, the significance of the precedent set, and the nature of subsequent precedents set by other cases which have cited it. -- The Anome (talk) 12:52, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
