[edit] Pediment
I noticed your contribution to Pediment. A couple of things:
- From what you wrote there seem to be two quite different meanings for pediment. Really the right way to deal with this is to create a second page called Pediment (geology). Pending that, I'm moving your comment to a section of that title at the bottom of the article. You need to cite some sources, not just to a specific use of the term in 1877 (even if that was the first) but ideally to a modern textbook or similar. You should give full details of Gilbert (1877) and other references: if you are used to academic citation I'd recommend via a cite template. If you've only just got your account, you won't be able to create a new page for a few days; drop a message on my talk page and I'll do it for you.
- Sign comments on talk pages, but not your contributions to actual articles.
Happy editing! PaddyLeahy (talk) 20:01, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
