I'm rather suspicious of the claims made here. It seems likely that he did good work on ramjets, and hence may legitimately lay claim to having the first patent on airbreathing jet engines. But ramjet engines on their own are fairly useless; it's difficult to get them up to a speed where they work efficiently.- (User) WolfKeeper (Talk) 19:38, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I think if this guy really did have the first patent on turbojet engines we would hear way more about it.- (User) WolfKeeper (Talk) 19:38, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
I tried to follow the references given, but they were dead, and a patent search didn't get anything useful, the databases don't seem to go that far back at the moment.- (User) WolfKeeper (Talk) 19:38, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
